Die Grundfarbe ist <strong>grau bis blau<\/strong> und er ist <strong>\u00fcbers\u00e4t von orange bis roten Flecken<\/strong>. Je nach Stimmung und Temperatur <strong>\u00e4ndert er die Farbe<\/strong> von hell zu dunkel und umgekehrt. Sein K\u00f6rper ist <strong>bullig<\/strong> und geht \u00fcber in den fast gleich langen, kr\u00e4ftigen Schwanz. Die k\u00f6rnigen Schuppen lassen ihn rau wirken. Sie haben einen gro\u00dfen, spitzen, abgesetzten Kopf mit gro\u00dfen sch\u00f6nen Augen, diese haben Vertikalpupillen. An den kr\u00e4ftigen Beinen haben sie Zehen, die mit Haftlamellen ausgestattet sind. Dadurch sind sie richtige<strong> Kletterk\u00fcnstler<\/strong>, auch <strong>auf glatten, steilen Fl\u00e4chen und sogar auf der Decke<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Tokehs kommunizieren \u00fcber Laute. Von einem leisen Zischen bis zum lauten <strong>too-kee-Ruf<\/strong> sind viele Laute m\u00f6glich. Diesen Lauten verdankt er auch seinen Namen: der h\u00e4ufigste Ruflaut, ist ein lautes <strong>too-kee<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"wie-erkennt-man-bei-einem-tokeh-das-geschlecht\">Wie erkennt man bei einem Tokeh das Geschlecht?<\/h3>\n<p>Das Geschlecht ist bei Jungtieren <strong>sehr schwer zu erkennen<\/strong>, ausgewachsene M\u00e4nnchen sind massiger, haben Pr\u00e4analporen und eine Hemipenistasche.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"wie-kann-man-einen-tokeh-zuechten\">Wie kann man einen Tokeh z\u00fcchten?<\/h3>\n<p>Eine Zucht ist m\u00f6glich und nicht ganz so schwer, mit 1 Jahr sind sie geschlechtsreif, hat sich ein P\u00e4rchen gefunden, findet die Paarung statt. Das Weibchen legt dann<strong> 1-2 Eier<\/strong> in einer Felsspalte und bereits <strong>nach 2 Monaten<\/strong> schl\u00fcpfen die kleinen Baby-Tokehs. Das Brutverhalten eines Tokehs ist sehr besonders.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"welche-eigenschaften-hat-ein-tokeh\">Welche Eigenschaften hat ein Tokeh?<\/h3>\n<p>Dieser wundersch\u00f6ne, <strong>nachtaktive Gecko<\/strong> ist, obwohl er recht ruhig und gem\u00fctlich wirkt, oft <strong>nicht sehr beliebt als Haustier<\/strong>. Warum er nicht sehr beliebt ist, ist sein Charakter. Er ist nicht nur <strong>seinen Artgenossen gegen\u00fcber territorial<\/strong>. Der Tokeh <strong>wird nicht zahm<\/strong>, selbst nach vielen Jahren der Pflege bleibt er <strong>angriffslustig<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Er gew\u00f6hnt sich mit der Zeit an den Besitzer. Arbeiten im Terrarium l\u00e4sst er meist auch zu, solange sie <strong>nicht in unmittelbarer N\u00e4he<\/strong> erledigt werden. Kommt man ihm allerdings zu nahe oder versucht ihn anzufassen, bei\u00dft er <strong>sofort und blitzschnell<\/strong> zu. Dank der starken Kiefermuskulatur sind die Bisse auch <strong>sehr schmerzhaft und durchdringen mehrere Hautschichten<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Wer nur das Beobachten dieses farbenfrohen Tieres sch\u00e4tzt, ist genau richtig. Ihn am Abend beim Klettern und Jagen zu beobachten, ist eine wahre Freude.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"herkunft-und-geschichte\">Herkunft und Geschichte<\/h2>\n<h3 id=\"wo-kommt-der-tokeh-urspruenglich-her\">Wo kommt der Tokeh urspr\u00fcnglich her?<\/h3>\n<p>Beheimatet sind sie in<strong> Asien<\/strong>, um genauer zu sein, in <strong>S\u00fcd- und S\u00fcdostasien bis zu den Philippinen<\/strong>. In Hawaii und Florida wurden sie vom Menschen eingef\u00fchrt. Dort leben sie in <strong>feuchtwarmen Waldgebieten<\/strong>, aber auch in menschlichen Siedlungen f\u00fchlen sie sich mittlerweile wohl und nutzen die Lichter, die am Abend Insekten anlocken, um zu fressen.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"gibt-es-noch-andere-tokeh-arten\">Gibt es noch andere Tokeh-Arten?<\/h3>\n<p>Die Artenvielfalt der Geckos ist extrem, es sind <strong>weit \u00fcber 1500 Arten<\/strong> bekannt, welche alle noch viele Unterarten besitzen. \u00c4hnlich wie der Tokeh ist jedoch keiner, er ist einzigartig in Gr\u00f6\u00dfe und Farbe.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"ernaehrung-haltung-und-pflege\">Ern\u00e4hrung, Haltung und Pflege<\/h2>\n<h3 id=\"gibt-es-beim-tokeh-rassetypische-krankheiten\">Gibt es beim Tokeh rassetypische Krankheiten?<\/h3>\n<p>Geckos sind allgemein<strong> sehr robuste Tiere<\/strong>, am h\u00e4ufigsten kommt es aufgrund von <strong>mangelnder Hygiene, schlechten Haltungsbedingungen und einer schlechten Ern\u00e4hrung<\/strong> zu Problemen. Dadurch entstehen zum Beispiel <strong>Mangelerscheinung, Verfettung, Unterf\u00fctterung oder Dehydrierung<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Von <strong>Parasiten, Viren- und Pilzerkrankungen<\/strong> bleiben sie auch nicht verschont. Nicht versorgte Verletzungen f\u00fchren oft zu Folgeproblemen. Beobachte deine Tiere daher <strong>regelm\u00e4\u00dfig<\/strong>, um Ver\u00e4nderungen schnell zu erkennen.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"welches-futter-braucht-ein-tokeh\">Welches Futter braucht ein Tokeh?<\/h3>\n<p>Der Tokeh ern\u00e4hrt sich ausschlie\u00dflich von <strong>Insekten, kleinen Wirbel- und S\u00e4ugetieren<\/strong>. Im Terrarium wird er daher abwechslungsreich mit <strong>Heuschrecken, Grillen, Heimchen, Schaben, Spinnen und verschiedenen W\u00fcrmern<\/strong> gef\u00fcttert.<\/p>\n<p>Proteinreiche Babym\u00e4use sollten <strong>nur zwischendurch als Snack<\/strong> angeboten werden, da sie zum verfetten neigen. Die Futtertiere sollen regelm\u00e4\u00dfig mit Mineralien, Vitaminen und Kalzium aufgepeppt werden, um dein Tier bestens zu versorgen. Jungtiere werden <strong>t\u00e4glich<\/strong> und ein erwachsener Tokeh <strong>zweimal w\u00f6chentlich<\/strong> gef\u00fcttert.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"ueberlegungen-vor-der-anschaffung\">\u00dcberlegungen vor der Anschaffung<\/h2>\n<h3 id=\"wo-kann-man-einen-tokeh-kaufen\">Wo kann man einen Tokeh kaufen?<\/h3>\n<p>F\u00fcndig wirst du in manchen Zoofachgesch\u00e4ften, bei Z\u00fcchtern oder in Online-Zoofachgesch\u00e4ften mit der M\u00f6glichkeit von Express-Tierversand. Eine andere Option w\u00e4re eine Adoption von Privaten oder aus einer Reptilienauffangstation. Lass dich <strong>gut beraten<\/strong> und <strong>achte auf ein gesundes, agiles Tier<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"was-brauche-ich-fuer-die-haltung-eines-tokehs\">Was brauche ich f\u00fcr die Haltung eines Tokehs?<\/h3>\n<p>Der aktive Kletterk\u00fcnstler ben\u00f6tigt <strong>viel Platz<\/strong>. Eine Einzelhaltung ist m\u00f6glich aber <strong>nicht artgerecht<\/strong>, ideal w\u00e4re <strong>ein P\u00e4rchen oder 2 Weibchen<\/strong>. 2 M\u00e4nner funktionieren auf Dauer nicht, da sie<strong> sehr dominant<\/strong> sind.<\/p>\n<p>Das Regenwaldterrarium f\u00fcr 2 Tiere muss <strong>mindestens 100x80cm Grundfl\u00e4che und eine H\u00f6he von 120cm<\/strong> haben, gr\u00f6\u00dfer ist jedoch immer zu empfehlen. Die <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zooroyal.de\/terraristik\/terrarium-beleuchtung\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Beleuchtung<\/a> muss eine <strong>Temperatur von 22-32\u00b0C<\/strong> in Zonen erm\u00f6glichen und<strong> gesch\u00fctzt<\/strong> sein, dass der Kletterk\u00fcnstler sich daran nicht verbrennen kann.<\/p>\n<p>Eine <strong>Nachtabsenkung auf 20-22\u00b0C Zimmertemperatur<\/strong> ist problemlos m\u00f6glich. Um eine <strong>Luftfeuchtigkeit von \u00fcber 70-90%<\/strong> zu erreichen, eignet sich am besten eine <strong>Regenanlage<\/strong> oder du spr\u00fchst t\u00e4glich mehrmals per Hand.<\/p>\n<p>Als <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zooroyal.de\/terraristik\/terrarium-einrichtung\/terrarium-bodengrund\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bodengrund<\/a> eignet sich Pinienrinde oder Kokos-Substrat und an den <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zooroyal.de\/terraristik\/terrarium-einrichtung\/terrariumrueckwand\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">R\u00fcckw\u00e4nden<\/a> Kork. Das Terrarium soll <strong>viele Kletterm\u00f6glichkeiten<\/strong>, wie Wurzeln und \u00c4ste anbieten, ebenso H\u00f6hlen zum Verstecken. Eine dichte, <strong>echte Bepflanzung<\/strong> ist nicht nur optisch sch\u00f6n, sie bietet Schutz, sorgt f\u00fcr ein <strong>nat\u00fcrliches Biotop<\/strong>, h\u00e4lt die Luftfeuchtigkeit l\u00e4nger und die Tiere k\u00f6nnen davon trinken. Eine Badeschale wird selten genutzt aber unterst\u00fctzt ebenfalls die Feuchtigkeit.<\/p>\n<p><strong>T\u00e4gliche Aufr\u00e4umarbeiten und ein Wassertausch<\/strong> sind n\u00f6tig, ebenso wie den
