Er hat <strong>kleine Pfoten, einen kr\u00e4ftigen K\u00f6rper und einen seitlich abgeflachten Schwanz mit einem Flossensaum<\/strong>. Der kr\u00e4ftige Schwanz wird zum Rudern genutzt. Der Kopf ist bullig mit einem breiten Mund, welcher immer wie ein L\u00e4cheln aussieht. \u00dcber dem abgerundeten Maul sitzen die Nasenl\u00f6cher; sie haben einen ausgepr\u00e4gten Geruchssinn. Die <strong>gro\u00dfen Augen<\/strong> sitzen mittig, weit auseinander, und haben keine Augenlider, weshalb sie keinem grellen Licht ausgesetzt werden sollten. Au\u00dferdem sind sie weitsichtig, was bedeutet, dass sie sehr nahe Dinge nicht wahrnehmen k\u00f6nnen. Am Hals befinden sich die Kiemen mit Kiemenb\u00fcscheln\/-\u00e4sten, welche wie kleine B\u00e4umchen aussehen. Axolotl werden <strong>im Durchschnitt 20\u201328 cm lang<\/strong>, es gibt aber vereinzelt gro\u00dfe Tiere mit<strong> bis zu 40 cm L\u00e4nge<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Ein Tier, das niemals erwachsen wird \u2013 so wird es genannt. Aufgrund eines Ph\u00e4nomens wird er nicht wie andere Lurche durch die Metamorphose erwachsen, sondern bleibt aufgrund von Hormonen <strong>dauerhaft im Larvenstadium<\/strong>. Diese Schwanzlurche gelten als besonders gelassen; sie bewegen sich langsam und ruhig durchs Becken. Trotz des Dauerlarvenstadiums werden sie <strong>mit 8\u201324 Monaten geschlechtsreif<\/strong>. Ein Z\u00fcchten ist somit nat\u00fcrlich m\u00f6glich. Die <strong>Paarung<\/strong> findet meist im Fr\u00fchjahr statt. Das M\u00e4nnchen gibt Duftstoffe ab und versucht, das Weibchen zu umgarnen. Ist das Weibchen paarungsbereit, folgt es dem M\u00e4nnchen. Das M\u00e4nnchen legt nun Samen ab, welche das Weibchen aufnimmt und damit ihre Eier im K\u00f6rper befruchtet. Danach sucht sie einen geeigneten Platz und legt <strong>bis zu 800 Eier<\/strong> ab. Bereits <strong>14\u201321 Tage<\/strong> sp\u00e4ter schl\u00fcpfen die Jungen mit einer Gr\u00f6\u00dfe von nur 7 mm. Nun beginnt Schritt f\u00fcr Schritt die Entwicklung zum ausgewachsenen Tier.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"herkunft-und-geschichte\">Herkunft und Geschichte<\/h2>\n<h3 id=\"wo-kommt-der-axolotl-urspruenglich-her\">Wo kommt der Axolotl urspr\u00fcnglich her?<\/h3>\n<p>Axolotl kommen aus <strong>Mittelamerika<\/strong>, genauer gesagt aus den Seen in der N\u00e4he von <strong>Mexiko-Stadt<\/strong>. Sie beheimaten den Xochimilco-See, den Chalco-See und einige weitere kleine Seen in der Umgebung. Diese Seen sind \u00dcberbleibsel eines gro\u00dfen Gew\u00e4ssersystems, welches heute nur noch teilweise kanalartig ausgepr\u00e4gt ist. Leider geht dort die Population der Axolotl aufgrund von Verschmutzung und Fressfeinden stark zur\u00fcck. Sie leben dort in <strong>sauerstoffreichem S\u00fc\u00dfwasser<\/strong> und halten sich ausschlie\u00dflich am Grund der Gew\u00e4sser auf.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div Jungtiere m\u00fcssen t\u00e4glich, erwachsene Tiere alle 3 Tage gef\u00fcttert werden.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"sind-axolotl-fuer-anfaenger-geeignet\">Sind Axolotl f\u00fcr Anf\u00e4nger geeignet?<\/h3>\n<p style=\"background-color: #a6d5dd; padding: 20px;\">Axolotl sind recht <strong>pflegeleicht<\/strong> und einfach zu halten, weshalb sie auch <strong>f\u00fcr Anf\u00e4nger geeignet<\/strong> sind. Ein paar wichtige Dinge gibt es aber zu beachten.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"was-brauche-ich-fuer-die-haltung-eines-axolotl\">Was brauche ich f\u00fcr die Haltung eines Axolotl?<\/h3>\n<p>Diese Schwanzlurche<strong> leben ausschlie\u00dflich im Wasser<\/strong>, daher ben\u00f6tigst du ein geeignetes Aquarium. Einen Landteil ben\u00f6tigen Axolotl nicht. Eine der gr\u00f6\u00dften Herausforderungen ist die <strong>Wassertemperatur<\/strong> \u2013 diese muss <strong>zwischen 12\u201320\u00b0C<\/strong> liegen, was bei einer Zimmertemperatur von 22\u201323\u00b0C nur mit einer K\u00fchlung m\u00f6glich ist. Dazu eignen sich K\u00fchlaggregate oder Ventilatoren. Direkte Sonneneinstrahlung sollte ebenfalls vermieden werden. Als <a href=\"\/aquaristik\/aquarium-bodengrund\/\"><strong>Bodengrund<\/strong> <\/a>eignet sich <strong>Axogravel oder Naturkies \u2013 dieser ist fein (1\u20133 mm) und abgerundet<\/strong>. Echte Pflanzen sorgen nicht nur f\u00fcr eine sch\u00f6ne Optik, sie bieten auch Versteckm\u00f6glichkeiten, wodurch sich die Tiere gleich wohler f\u00fchlen. Achte bei der Auswahl darauf, dass diese mit der niedrigen Temperatur klarkommen \u2013 viele <a href=\"\/aquaristik\/aquarium-dekoration\/aquarium-pflanzen\/\">Aquariumpflanzen<\/a> sind daher ungeeignet.<\/p>\n<p>F\u00fcr sauberes Wasser ben\u00f6tigst du einen <a href=\"\/aquaristik\/filter\/\">Filter<\/a>. Ob ein <strong>Innen- oder Au\u00dfenfilter<\/strong> sinnvoller ist, h\u00e4ngt von deinem Aquarium ab. Axolotl m\u00f6gen es ruhig, daher sollte der Wasserauslass keine zu starke Str\u00f6mung verursachen. Eine zus\u00e4tzliche Str\u00f6mungspumpe ist nicht n\u00f6tig. Nun fehlt noch das Licht \u2013 dieses darf f\u00fcr die Pflanzen nicht fehlen. Die <strong>nachtaktiven Axolotl<\/strong> meiden grelles Licht; eine einfache <strong>Aquarienlampe<\/strong> f\u00fcr Pflanzen, die nicht zu hell eingestellt ist, reicht vollkommen aus. Ein <strong>w\u00f6chentlicher Wasserwechsel von 10% ist<\/strong> immer sinnvoll, um Schadstoffe zu entfernen. Bevor du die Tiere einsetzt, empfehle ich einen <strong>Probelauf von 3\u20134 Wochen<\/strong>. So kannst du \u00fcberpr\u00fcfen, ob alles l\u00e4uft, ob die Wasserparameter stimmen, und das Becken hat Zeit, die Biologie aufzubauen.
