Der <strong>breite Kopf<\/strong> ist dreieckig und hat mehreren Reihen Stacheln. Seitlich am Kopf sind <strong>zwei ovale \u00d6ffnungen,<\/strong> das sind die Ohren. Die Augen sind ein <strong>wichtiges Sinnesorgan,<\/strong> Bartagamen sehen Feinde oder Futter schon aus <strong>sehr gro\u00dfer Entfernung<\/strong>. Da sie aber seitlich am Kopf sitzen, haben sie <strong>frontal einen toten Winkel.<\/strong> Anders als unsere Augen haben sie ein <strong>drittes Augenlied,<\/strong> dieses kann als Schutz \u00fcber die Augen gezogen werden. Mittig auf dem Sch\u00e4del sitzt das <strong>dritte Auge,<\/strong> das Parietalorgan, damit kann die Agame <strong>Helligkeitsunterschiede<\/strong> wahrnehmen. Das dritte Auge sieht aus wie eine etwas gr\u00f6\u00dfere Schuppe. Der K\u00f6rper ist abgeflacht, in der Mitte breiter und wird von kurzen aber kr\u00e4ftigen Gliedma\u00dfen gestemmt. Die besonders dicke Haut im Schuppenkleid ist mit <strong>Stacheln<\/strong> \u00fcberzogen.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"wie-alt-wird-eine-bartagame\">Wie alt wird eine Bartagame?<\/h3>\n<p>Bartis werden ca. 10 Jahre alt, in Ausnahmef\u00e4llen auch \u00e4lter.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"welche-farbe-hat-eine-bartagame\">Welche Farbe hat eine Bartagame?<\/h3>\n<p>Die Typischen Farben sind <strong>braun, beige bis grau.<\/strong> Die Unterseite ist immer <strong>hell.<\/strong> Durch die heutige gezielte Z\u00fcchtung gibt es Farbbartagamen in verschiedensten Farben, wie rot, gelb, orange und viele mehr.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"kann-man-das-geschlecht-erkennen\">Kann man das Geschlecht erkennen?<\/h3>\n<p>Leider ist die Geschlechtsbestimmung<strong> bei Jungtieren sehr schwierig.<\/strong> Sind sie \u00e4lter kann man es an den <strong>Hemipenistaschen<\/strong> erkennen. Wenn du den Schwanz vorsichtig nach oben biegst und sich oberhalb der Kloake eine Vertiefung und seitlich je eine W\u00f6lbung bildet, ist es ein M\u00e4nnchen. Bei einem Weibchen ist alles flach oder es bildet sich ein Trapez \u00fcber der Kloake. Ebenfalls kann man es im Alter an den<strong> Femoralsporen<\/strong>, innen am Oberschenkel, erkennen. Diese sind beim M\u00e4nnchen deutlich gr\u00f6\u00dfer und dunkler. Jedes M\u00e4nnchen hat dort sein eigenes Revier, das er auch verteidigt. Nur Weibchen sind zur Paarungszeit willkommen. Es sind bodenbewohnende Tiere, lieben es aber, etwas <strong>erh\u00f6ht<\/strong> zu sein, um nach Feinden und Futter Ausschau zu halten. Daf\u00fcr klettern sie auch gerne auf einen Strauch.<strong> Sonnenbaden<\/strong> ist f\u00fcr Bartis sehr wichtig, sie sind <strong>wechselwarme Tiere<\/strong>, also ist die K\u00f6rpertemperatur von der Umgebungstemperatur abh\u00e4ngig. Sie f\u00e4rben dabei auch ihre Farbe dunkel, um die W\u00e4rme besser aufzunehmen und zu speichern. Temperaturen um die <strong>50-55\u00b0C<\/strong> sind ganz normal. In der Natur sind sie Menschen gegen\u00fcber sehr <strong>abweisend<\/strong> und rei\u00dfen das Maul weit auf, wenn man zu nahekommt. Greifv\u00f6gel und Raubtiere sind die Hauptfeinde, bei Gefahr verstecken sie sich unter Steinen oder in Erdh\u00f6hlen.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"ernaehrung-haltung-und-pflege\">Ern\u00e4hrung, Haltung und Pflege<\/h2>\n<h3 id=\"wovon-ernaehrt-sich-eine-bartagame\">Wovon ern\u00e4hrt sich eine Bartagame?<\/h3>\n<p>Der Speiseplan ist sehr vielf\u00e4ltig. Einerseits <strong>pflanzliche Kost<\/strong>, wie Gr\u00e4ser und Kr\u00e4uter. Am besten eignen sich <strong>Wiesenkr\u00e4uter und Bl\u00fcten.<\/strong> Bitte kein Obst, da sie es nicht verdauen k\u00f6nnen. Andererseits<strong> tierische Kost<\/strong> wie Insekten, Spinnen und kleine S\u00e4ugetiere. Auch hier gilt immer, sehr abwechslungsreich, wie zum Beispiel Heuschrecken, Heimchen, Grillen, Mehlw\u00fcrmer, Schaben und nur ab und zu Baby-M\u00e4use. <strong>Jungtiere<\/strong> ern\u00e4hren sich haupts\u00e4chlich tierisch, wobei sie im Alter mehr pflanzliche Kost fressen. An Zus\u00e4tze, wie <strong>Mineralstoffe, Vitamin- und Kalzium-Pulver<\/strong> solltest du auch denken. Jungtiere werden t\u00e4glich gef\u00fcttert, ausgewachsene Tiere alle 2 Tage.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"wie-wird-eine-bartagame-gehalten\">Wie wird eine Bartagame gehalten?<\/h3>\n<p>Bartagamen sind von Natur aus <strong>Einzelg\u00e4nger.<\/strong> Eine artgerechte Haltung ist in einem Terrarium von mindestens <strong>150x80x80cm (1 Tier)<\/strong> m\u00f6glich. Gr\u00f6\u00dfer ist jedoch immer besser. Die Terrarium-Gr\u00f6\u00dfe muss immer der Gr\u00f6\u00dfe des Tieres und der Anzahl angepasst werden. Die Einrichtung sollte so naturnah wie m\u00f6glich gestaltet werden. Als Bodengrund empfiehlt sich <strong>Sand oder ein Sand-Lehm-Gemisch,<\/strong> dies darf zum Buddeln gerne 10-15cm hoch eingef\u00fcllt werden. Die R\u00fcckwand soll mit mehreren<strong> Erh\u00f6hungen<\/strong> gebaut werden, weil Bartis gerne erh\u00f6ht liegen um das Revier im Blick zu haben. Als <strong>R\u00fcckzugsorte<\/strong> d\u00fcrfen H\u00f6hlen, Wurzeln und Steine, die als Versteck dienen, nicht fehlen. Achte aber darauf, eine Lauffl\u00e4che frei zu halten und nicht alles zu verbauen. Pflanzen sind nicht unbedingt n\u00f6tig. Falls man welche haben m\u00f6chte, sollte darauf geachtet werden, dass sie nicht giftig sind. Sie werden bestimmt mal davon naschen.Die Umgebungstemperatur von um die <strong>30 Grad Celsius<\/strong> untertags ist f\u00fcr Bartis sehr wichtig. An den Sonnenpl\u00e4tzen soll es aber <strong>50-55\u00b0C<\/strong> betragen. Die Lampen sollten abgesichert sein, damit die Tiere nicht rankommen. Nachts kann die Temperatur auf 20 Grad Celsius abgesenkt werden. <strong>40-60%<\/strong> betr\u00e4gt die ideale Luftfeuchtigkeit. Die ideale UV-Versorgung ist ebenfalls unumg\u00e4nglich. Eine <strong>Wasserschale<\/strong> zum Trinken und Baden kann auch gerne eingesetzt werden, diese aber bitte t\u00e4glich reinigen.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"wie-deutet-man-die-die-koerpersprache\">Wie deutet man die die K\u00f6rpersprache?<\/h3>\n<p>Einige Verhaltensweisen werden bei Bartagamen oft falsch gedeutet. Die, am \u00f6ftesten falsch gedeuteten, K\u00f6rpersprachen sind: Das <strong>Z\u00fcngeln<\/strong> wird bei neuen Gegenst\u00e4nden benutzt, um die Duftstoffe zu verarbeiten oder zur sozialen Interaktion, wie zum Beispiel beim Begr\u00fc\u00dfen. <strong>Balzverhalten<\/strong> beginnt mit starkem Nicken und einer Schwarzf\u00e4rbung des Bartes. <strong>Maul \u00f6ffnen<\/strong> unter dem Sonnenplatz dient zum Abk\u00fchlen. <strong>Winken<\/strong> mit dem Arm dient als Beschwichtigung. <strong>Schnelles Nicken<\/strong> ist eine Dominanzgeste. <strong>Aufrei\u00dfen des Mauls<\/strong> mit aufgestelltem Bart ist eine Drohung. <strong>Augenschlie\u00dfen<\/strong> ist eine Ablehnungsgeste.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"wie-aufwendig-ist-die-pflege-einer-bartagame\">Wie aufwendig ist die Pflege einer Bartagame?<\/h3>\n<p>Bartis sind f\u00fcr <strong>Anf\u00e4nger und Einsteiger<\/strong> geeignet, da sie recht unkompliziert sind. Neben den Terrarium-Bedingungen m\u00fcsst ihr sie <strong>t\u00e4glich f\u00fcttern<\/strong> und t\u00e4glich die Schale mit <strong>frischem Wasser<\/strong> auff\u00fcllen. Dabei soll auch immer die Temperatur und die Luftfeuchtigkeit \u00fcberpr\u00fcft werden. Mindestens 2mal pro Woche muss der Kot der Tiere entfernt werden. Die Scheiben und die Deko sind, je nach Verschmutzung, zwischendurch zu reinigen. Einmal im Jahr sollte der Bodengrund getauscht werden.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"kann-ich-bartagamen-zuechten\">Kann ich Bartagamen z\u00fcchten?<\/h3>\n<p>Ja, <strong>ab einem Jahr<\/strong> sind Bartagamen geschlechtsreif, manche auch schon fr\u00fcher. Kurze Zeit nach der Winterruhe beginnt die Fortpflanzungszeit. Das M\u00e4nnchen balzt mit starkem Kopfnicken und tiefschwarzem Bart. Ist das Weibchen paarungswillig dr\u00fcckt sie den Kopf k\u00fcrzer flach auf den Boden. Jetzt bei\u00dft das M\u00e4nnchen dem Weibchen in den Nacken um Halt zu finden. War die Paarung erfolgreich reifen bis zu <strong>30 Eier<\/strong> heran. Zum Ende der Tr\u00e4chtigkeit, nach<strong> 3-6 Wochen<\/strong>, sucht das Weibchen einen Eiablageplatz, hat sie diesen gefunden, legt sie die Eier ab. Die Eier werden in den Inkubator gebracht und bei <strong>26-30\u00b0C ausgebr\u00fctet<\/strong>. Nach 50-90 Tagen schl\u00fcpfen die Jungtiere und werden in einem eigenen Terrarium aufgezogen. Bartagamen halten eine <strong>Winterruhe<\/strong>, es ist kein Muss, aber ein nat\u00fcrliches Verhalten, das du als Halter unterst\u00fctzen kannst. Am besten sind daf\u00fcr ein <strong>k\u00e4lterer Raum oder ein Keller<\/strong> geeignet. Dabei senkt man die Temperatur langsam auf <strong>18\u00b0C<\/strong> herunter. Die Tiere ziehen sich in der Zeit zur\u00fcck und der Stoffwechsel wird heruntergefahren. <strong>2-3 Monate<\/strong> soll die Winterruhe anhalten, dann wird langsam wieder die Temperatur erh\u00f6ht. W\u00e4hrend der Winterruhe wird nicht gef\u00fcttert, Trinkwasser muss aber immer bereitstehen. Die Winterruhe ist wichtig f\u00fcr die Gesundheit und den Hormonhaushalt. Auch Bartis <strong>h\u00e4uten sich regelm\u00e4\u00dfig.<\/strong> Es muss immer eine gro\u00dfe Schale zum Baden zur Verf\u00fcgung stehen, denn gerade in der Zeit der H\u00e4utung liegen sie gerne im Wasser.
